This page explains what personal information Remould Africa Network collects through this website, why we collect it, and who else handles it.
Who we are
Remould Africa Network is a non-profit organisation based in Accra, Ghana. If you have a question about this page, write to us at info@remouldafrica.org.
What we collect, and why
- Contact form: your name, email address, the topic and your message, so that we can reply to you.
- Volunteer sign-up: your name, email address, phone number, city and country, where you would like to help, when you are free and any message, so that we can organise outreaches and contact you.
- Newsletter: your email address, so that we can send you the newsletter.
- Book orders: your name, email address, phone number and, for paperbacks, your delivery address, so that we can take payment, deliver your order and send your receipt and e-book links.
- Security: your IP address is stored with contact messages and volunteer sign-ups to help us deal with abuse.
Payments
Payments are processed by Paystack. You enter your card or mobile money details on Paystack's page, not ours, and we never see or store them. Paystack's own privacy policy applies to that information.
Protection against spam
To stop automated spam, our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile. When you use a form, Turnstile runs a short check in your browser and sends information about your browser and connection, such as your IP address, to Cloudflare so that it can tell whether you are a person. How Cloudflare handles that information is described in the Cloudflare Turnstile Privacy Addendum.
Other services
This website loads its fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser contacts Google when a page loads. Videos hosted on YouTube load only when you press play, using YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode.
Cookies
We use only the cookies the website needs to work: a session cookie that keeps your cart and protects our forms against forgery. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies. Cloudflare Turnstile may store a small amount of data in your browser to complete its check.
Sharing and keeping your information
We do not sell your information. We share it only with the services described above and when the law requires it. We keep it for as long as we need it for the purposes above, and then delete it.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or ask to be removed from the newsletter, by writing to info@remouldafrica.org.
Changes to this page
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
